Los Angeles, California- The Elephant in the Living Room takes viewers on a journey deep inside the controversial subculture where the most dangerous animals on earth are kept as common household pets. Synopsis: The Elephant in the Living Room is an award winning documentary about the controversial subculture of raising the deadliest animals on earth as common household pets. Director Michael Webber follows the journey of two men at the heart of the issue. One, Tim Harrison, an Ohio police officer whose friend was killed by his exotic pet, and the other, Terry Brumfield, a big-hearted man who struggles to keep two pet African lions that he loves like his own family.

Michael Webber ? Producer/Director: Michael Webber began his career in television as a commercial director and would later serve as writer, director, producer and visual effects supervisor on literally hundreds of productions. In 2005, Webber?s career migrated into producing for feature film projects for Twentieth Century Fox and Lionsgate. In 2009 Webber resolved to give his unyielding dedication to what he calls his ?passion project?, a documentary film that blows the doors off the exotic pet subculture in the United States.

Tim Harrison: At the epicenter of the exotic animal issue is Tim Harrison, a hall-of-fame martial arts expert and a world-renowned animal protection advocate. Working as a police officer, Harrison has captured and rescued literally hundreds of alligators, crocodiles, lions, bears, tigers and the largest and most deadly snakes on earth, all in the United States. Over the course of is career he has authored two books on the subject of captive exotic pets, produced educational wildlife videos and has been featured on nearly every major television network including National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, CNN, and others.
