The Animal Welfare League of Alexandria is looking to find as many homes as possible for their adoptable animals this summer.
From August 15 to September 21, The Animal Welfare League is hosting a variety of Back-to-School adoption events to start the new academic year with four weeks of adoption discounts and unique promotions, which will vary each week.
From now until August 21, all dog and cat adoption fees will be reduced by 50%.
From August 22-28, parents with children enrolled in school will receive a discount of 50% on all adult animals.
?The adoption event is a fun way to engage potential adopters as they prepare for the start of another school year,? says Kathy Vellenga, Director of Adoption Programs.?
The Animal Shelter is located at 4101 Eisenhower Avenue in Alexandria, Va.
